Bond. Jessica Bond. That will be the new official name for one of Paul Manafort's adult daughters, who has decided to dump her father's last name and default to her mother Kathleen's maiden name instead. "I would like my new name to be Jessica Anne Bond, in place of my present name," the 36-year-old filmmaker noted in a Friday filing in Manhattan Supreme Court, per the New York Post. She added her new name "more closely suits my profession."

The moniker swap doesn't come completely out of the blue: In July, the Los Angeles Times noted Jessica had already been using "Jessica Bond" professionally, and she told the paper she wasn't trying to "hide," but merely to "separate" herself from her infamous father, President Trump's former campaign manager and now a convicted felon. "I am a passionate liberal and a registered Democrat and this has been difficult for me," she said. "Although I am 'the daughter of,' I am very much my own person and hopefully people can realize that." (More Paul Manafort stories.)
