She's defended herself—and told others not to—in numerous tweets. Now, Roseanne Barr has turned to YouTube to explain her infamous tweet about former Obama official Valerie Jarrett. Sort of. In a video posted Thursday to Barr's account, the comedian is seen smoking a cigarette and playing with her hair as a male voice off screen helps her prep for the video. Barr sounds annoyed and says she wants to talk about Jarrett and Iran—"that's what my tweet was about!"—before screaming, "I thought the b— was white!" Twice.

The male voice, apparently a producer, had been advising Barr to speak like she was giving a presidential address, per the Hollywood Reporter. "Roseanne, like always, cuts through the bull---- and gets (to) the heart of the matter," the video caption reads. It comes almost two weeks after Barr promised to release a video with "the entire explanation of what happened & why," claiming TV interviews would be "too stressful & untrustworthy 4 me & my fans." Per Variety, Barr previously said on her podcast that she "never would have wittingly called any black person … a monkey." (More Roseanne Barr stories.)
