It was expected, but now it's official: Jeffrey Tambor won't return for the fifth season of Transparent after being accused of sexual harassment by two women involved with the hit Amazon show. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Amazon Studios made the announcement Thursday after finishing an investigation into the accusations. Tambor said in November that he didn't "see how I can return" to the show, though his publicist later said the actor didn't plan on quitting, the Los Angeles Times reports. Tambor, who won two Emmys and a Golden Globe for Transparent, denies the allegations against him. “I have great respect and admiration for Van Barnes and Trace Lysette, whose courage in speaking out about their experience on Transparent is an example of the leadership this moment in our culture requires,” show creator Jill Soloway says of Tambor's accusers.
