The California gunman who went on a rampage Tuesday started the killing in his own home. Police in Rancho Tehama found the body of Kevin Neal's wife hidden beneath the floor of the residence, reports the Los Angeles Times. She had been shot multiple times. "We believe that's probably what started this whole event," said Tehama County Assistant Sheriff Phil Johnston on Wednesday, per the AP. The discovery raises the death toll to six, including the 44-year-old gunman, who was killed by police. Authorities say a wise lockdown at an elementary school prevented things from being much worse.
