Pro tip: If you're going to investigate your husband's phone on the suspicion he may be cheating on you, maybe don't do it while thousands of feet in the air. A woman—who, authorities say, had had a few drinks—on a Qatar Airways flight from Doha, Qatar, to the Indonesian island of Bali Sunday decided to unlock her husband's phone by using his finger on the scanner while he napped, and things went downhill from there. Upon unlocking the phone, she discovered he was apparently having an affair. The ensuing brouhaha got so out of control the flight was eventually diverted to Chennai, India, the Times of India reports.

In addition to fighting with her husband, the woman also allegedly fought with crew members who were trying to calm her down. The Iranian couple—and their young child, who was on the plane with them—exited the flight in Chennai and the plane went on to Bali. Once the woman sobered up, the family boarded a flight to Kuala Lumpur and from there back to Doha. They had originally been headed to Bali on a holiday, the Indian Express reports. Qatar Airways wouldn't comment on the incident, but a Central Industrial Security Force official confirms an "intoxicated" passenger who "misbehaved with crew members inflight" was "offloaded" along with her family after the flight was diverted.
