Terry Crews says the flood of stories coming out about Harvey Weinstein's behavior has inspired him to share a sexual harassment story of his own in the hope of deterring predators and helping those who feel hopeless. In a series of tweets Tuesday, the NFL star-turned-actor described how a "high level Hollywood executive" groped his "privates" at a function last year, Vulture reports. "My wife saw everything n we looked at him like he was crazy," Crews wrote. "He just grinned like a jerk." Crews says he was ready to fight, then realized that he would probably end up in jail—and that the next day's headlines would read: "240 lbs. Black Man stomps out Hollywood Honcho."

"This whole thing with Harvey Weinstein is giving me PTSD. Why? Because this kind of thing happened to ME," Crews tweeted, adding that he can empathize with women victimized by Weinstein who remained silent. Crews said the man apologized the next day and he decided not to take it any further because he didn't want to be ostracized in the entertainment industry, Deadline reports. But that could change: "He knows who he is," Crews wrote. "But sumtimes Uhav2 wait & compare notes w/ others who’ve been victimized in order 2gain a position of strength."
