Odd Message Posted About Realtor's Unsolved 2008 Murder
Lindsay Buziak   (handout)

It's either a clue or a hoax, but it's reviving interest in the unsolved February 2008 murder of a Canadian real estate agent. Lindsay Buziak was found stabbed to death in the bedroom of a $1 million home she was showing in Saanich, British Columbia. A 2010 report from CTV News floated the police theory that the 24-year-old was targeted by an unknown couple pretending to be interested in the home. And as the 10-year anniversary of her death nears, an odd message has emerged. Buziak's father, Jeff Buziak, operates the LindsayBuziakMurder.com site, and on Sunday, a new comment was posted to a Nov. 11, 2011, post by a "Ross Addic." It begins, "I killed Lindsey [sic] and stupid cops will never prove it so you all got nothin."

The post is an odd one, and goes on to claim that people named Jay Z, Sandy Delcaxar, Vid, and Medardo played a role, and says Saanich's chief constable "had to obey so he cut the phoney investigation." Jeff Buziak tells Saanich News, "I've not seen something this bold before," though he acknowledges that he doesn't check the site daily. He adds to the CBC, "This is the first time we've had somebody step up, and claim they are responsible for the murder. I've asked for that from the beginning that the coward should step forward." CHEK News has a statement from Saanich police that says only that "they are aware of the website ... and all tips and leads are investigated."
