First there was Opie and Anthony. Then just Opie. And now he's gone, too. Sirius XM has fired Gregg Hughes, aka Opie and host of the Opie Radio Show, reports Variety. The company hasn't explained the reason, but the chatter among fans is that it involves a video Hughes made of a male employee using the bathroom, reports All Access. Hughes' longtime partner, Anthony Cumia, was fired in 2014 over racially charged tweets.

"Kind of odd," Cumia tweeted upon learning of the news. "The last bit of what we built for all those yrs is gone. But such is life I guess." The shock-jock pair gained fame in Boston and New York before moving to satellite radio, notes theinterrobang.com. Hughes himself (or at least his show's account) tweeted: "Humbled by the love and support. Wish I can write everyone back. Won't be sitting out long." (More Opie and Anthony stories.)
