SC Home Comes With Tenant Who Doesn't Pay
The "nightmare" house in Cayce, SC.   (Zillow)

Your dream home could await in Cayce, SC—if you don't mind living in the same home as a mysterious stranger who is rarely seen and doesn't pay rent. There's no truth-bending to a real estate ad for the $130,000 property on Zillow: It warns that buyers will have to assume responsibility for a tenant who lives rent-free in an apartment on the upper floor of the four-bedroom home, per WJBK. "Upstairs apartment cannot be shown under any circumstances," the listing states. "Occupant has never paid, and no security deposit is being held, but there is a lease in place. (Yes, it does not make sense, please don't bother asking.)"

The home has quite a few other peculiarities, including a large hole in the roof, a weird statue in the backyard, and a door covered in splatters of what one can only hope is red paint, reports AOL. The ad gained traction online after a Twitter user described the home as a "nightmare." Others are now imagining bleeding walls or a resident ghost, per WIS. But though the owners of the property say they've never seen the upstairs tenant, per WJBK, a recently expired ad seeking renters for the home identified the individual as a "professional artist." The home, complete with a separate cottage, is being sold as-is. (This home has a champagne vault and car museum.)
