They've been in no great hurry to get there, but Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are now officially on the road to Splitsville. TMZ reports that in what appears to be a completely amicable split, Affleck and Garner, both 44, filed a coordinated petition and response, with both agreeing to joint legal and physical custody of their three children—Violet, 11; Seraphina, 8; and Samuel, 5. They announced in June 2015 that they were separating, though there were rumors of reconciliation as recently as last month.

The divorce could be final within six months for Affleck and Garner, who have been married for 12 years. "They just did it the way they wanted to and did what was best for their kids," a source who describes the divorce as "super amicable" tells People. TMZ notes there was no prenup, which could benefit Garner, who made less over their time together; the site reports the financial aspect of the divorce has yet to be settled. People adds they did agree to retain their own earnings made since the date of separation, though one wasn't listed in the filing. (Last month, Ben praised Jen for her support while he completed a stint in rehab. (More celebrity divorces stories.)
