Dad of the Year Recreates Teen Daughter's Selfies
Like daughter, like father. Cassie and Burr Martin are going viral.   (Instagram)

Washington state dad Burr Martin proves nothing makes "sexy selfies" taken by teens look sillier than when they're recreated by a 47-year-old man. Us Weekly reports Martin is going viral after recreating a number of his 19-year-old daughter Cassie's selfies and posting them on Instagram. “Instead of telling her to stop, well, I thought of something better,” KING quotes Martin as saying. And Martin spares no effort in his recreations, incorporating everything from tummy-baring shirts, to hand-drawn tattoos, to eye makeup. His attempt to make a crown out of a branch ended with him covered in bugs. "I guess all artists suffer for their craft," Martin tells Us Weekly.

Q13 calls Martin the "best troll ever," and Cassie might agree. She even reposts her dad's photos on Twitter. “The funniest reaction I get is from people my age hoping their parents don't know how to work the internet so they can't jump [on] the trend my dad has started,” Cassie tells Us Weekly. Martin admits some people think he's being a jerk, but they just don't understand his relationship with his daughter. “We've kind of always made fun of each other in our family," he says. (These parents hilariously recreated their daughter's romantic selfies.)
