It can be mentally and emotionally draining being a news anchor. It surely must take a toll on your soul to report day in and day out on the complexities of ISIS, the Iran nuclear deal—and, for one Florida newscaster, the Kardashians. Viewers witnessed John Brown's distress over the latter manifest itself on Friday during a live Good Day Orlando segment. In what Mashable calls a "true moment of self-discovery," Brown stormed off the set during a correspondent's report on Kylie Jenner's new rabbit, Bruce (named after Caitlyn Jenner's former persona). "I'm havin' a good Friday, so I refuse to talk about the Kardashians today," he told co-anchor Amy Kaufeldt as he stood up from their anchoring couch. "You are on your own, Amy, I can't do it. I've had enough Kardashians, I can't take any more Kardashian stories on this show."

Another male anchor slid into Brown's spot on the sofa to help Kaufeldt out as the laughing off-set correspondent tried to goad Brown back into the conversation by asking how he'd like it if his own daughter named a rabbit after him. He continued his rant off-camera, proclaiming, "I don't care. … I'm sick of this family. I can't take it anymore. … It's a nonstory, we're talking about this family every freaking day on this show. Nobody cares about this family anymore." Brown later posted the clip on Facebook, noting, "Here is the Kardashian rant. Sorry, I lost my mind a bit, although it was partially in jest! I did feel better though after I was done." (This was almost as good as the news anchor who hated on Santa during a broadcast.)
